2nd Year Blog Anniversary:Some Shopping & A Mini GIVEAWAY

Today my SWEETHEART turned two but I will count it as ONE because throughout my pregnancy and some time after that I DID NOT blog at all but I am happy that I have started blogging again. Today I had written my FIRST post on my blog. CHECK it out HERE

Blog Sale - INTERESTED??

Today while doing some BOX ROOM cleaning, I came across so MANY products that i have barely used or haven't used AT ALL.I am a kind of person who buys lots of stuffs and never WEAR or USE them (sometimes I, earlier MY MOM and now my HUBBY wants to kill me for this habit) but I think most of you must be having this HABIT. lol
Anyways I dreaded that if I DON'T use them ( which I wont, I know) they are going to EXPIRE someday and I don't want them to go WASTE :SOB SOB:
So I thought I will do a BLOG SALE.Obviously the items will be in DISCOUNTED rates.Just wanted to know if you GUYS interested.

MAC Select Cover-up Concealer REVIEW

The best concealer I have ever used so far but sadly, it did not work for me.

MAC Select Cover-up Concealer

Liquid camouflage for the skin. Texture-free, virtually invisible. Comes in a tube. Blends in. Brightens and lightens dark areas, erases spots, evens-out skin tones. Makes skin flaw-free. Use pre-foundation, or on its own. Don't reveal it, conceal it!

My Experience 

MAC Select Cover-up Concealer comes in a cute plastic tube with a black screwcap making it travel-friendly. Also its transparent so that we can make out the product left. 

The consistency is just fine, not too runny, not too thick - just perfect. I don't have major dark circles and I hardly cover them. So, I mostly use this concealer to cover my acne marks and I must say it does its job perfectly. It covers up the acne and acne marks completely and gives a flawless finish. 

No matter how I apply it ~ dabbing lightly with my fingers, with a concealer/blending brush, wet sponge, it gives a perfect finish. The only thing you need to take care of is, you have to work with it real fast as it dries up quickly. Also, it needs to be set with a powder and because I rarely wear foundations, I generally set it with a powder with yellow undertone.

UPDATE ~ Now the most heart-breaking thing is, it gave me really ugly Cystic Acne. Yes, you heard me right. It was really hard for me accept this fact but eventually I had to. Imagine, all this time I was wondering, why was my skin breaking out and was trying to hide the acne and acne marks with the product responsible. Actually, this was not the only reason, that is why I could not figure it out in the first place.

All in all, I think this is a perfect concealer to cover blemishes, acne, acne marks etc. It gives awesome coverage and looks flawless. But sadly, it did work for me but may work for you.

• The packaging is cute & transparent.
• Travel friendly.
• The consistency is just fine.
• The coverage looks quite natural ( I set it with my MAC PREP+PRIME Transparent Finishing Powder/Pressed)
• It covers up my PIMPLE SCARS.
• A very little product is needed to do the job.
• It blends perfectly.

Dislikes

• You need to work quickly as it dries real fast.
• Needs to be set with powder.
• Gave me ugly Cystic Acne. I have been dealing with them since almost a year now :(

I don't think it would be fair to rate such an awesome product just because it did not work for me.

Mint Obsession & B'day Surprise
