Our environment can play a huge role in determining skin health. If I consider my skin it’s really freaking me out. I reside in West Bengal and as of now the current weather condition with all the pollution in the city is making my skin go worse each day. And if not taken proper care it will end up being even worse. In very overcrowded cities, there is high levels of air pollution which results in more number of skin complaints and skin damage.

Festive season has started and Diwali is around the corner. So, I thought of doing some Easy Festive Looks for you guys. I am planning on doing a total of 4 looks (hopefully) and here's my first Blue Smokey Eyes look with NUde lips. 

Before starting on the pictorial, I want to say that I am not happy with the first pic because it got dark before I was expecting and I had to use flash :( Also, the blue looks lighter because of the flash. Last Minute PopArt Halloween Makeup Look

So today was Karva Chauth. For those of you all who does not know, most of the married women in India fast for their husband on this day and break their fast only after seeing the moon.

Why I Was MIA and A Small Announcement

I never had Skin Issues and my skin was kind of flawless in my teenage years, college days, after marriage and also during and post pregnancy. So, my SkinCare Routine was pretty much washing my face with any face wash I liked and applying any moisturiser/sunscreen that I find.

But almost two years back my skin started breaking out. Within no time, both my cheeks were full of painful cystic acne. They would go and come back again and again and again leaving behind ugly marks and redness.

Though my skin is much better ATM but nothing like what it used to be. Acne scar bother me more than anything and therefore, I am more careful about what I use on my face and try to use minimal products and also I try to follow the same Skincare Routine.

If you follow my blog or my Instagram Profile, you must be knowing that I am a eyeliner/kajal hoarder and love doing my eyes. Infact I  can't even imagine leaving my house without putting on kajal. So, when Maybelline came up with new eye products, I had to get them. I went ahead and bought all three New Maybelline Colossal Kohl ~ Jewelled Jade, Crushed Emerald and Smoked Silver. Colorbar Virgin, Not Anymore!!

I never had an opportunity to explore Colorbar Cosmetics because we don't have a stand alone store out here and I was always too confused to try them out. I mean I hardly know about their products. The SAs are also not helpful. Most of them try too hard to sell their products and fail to understand the needs and queries of the customers.

So, this time, I did not want to return empty handed and thought of playing safe and picking up few products that are talked about. Below are the products I ended up buying. I would surely like to buy few lipsticks next time :)

I am back with five more nail paints from Oriflame's  The One range. I have already done a detailed review on the other five HERE.

These five colors are so summery and really pretty. All of these are my favorite and I seriously can't pick up just one.

The lighter shades like Strawberry Cream, Lilac Silk and Tiramisu are quite sheer and goes opaque in 2 coats ( I like three) and the other two needs just one coat but I like 2. You can read the detailed review HERE.
