Priding itself as India's first-ever textured nail paint, the Color Show Glitter Mania range is every nail-art lover's dream! With 8 glittering nail color shades to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect shade for every mood.

Here's why you'll love it:
• Features the Color Dry Technology for a stylish, sand-textured effect
• When applied on nails, it delivers a 3D shimmering effect
• Perfect for experimental, trendy nail art
• Easy to apply and dries quickly
• Comes in 8 trendy, glittering shades

My Experience
Pink Champagne is a light pink color with shimmer and even silver glitter chunks that looks so pretty that I want to stare at my nails all day. Its my favorite shade among them all.  I love how it qualifies as an office wear as well.
Paparazzi Purple is a pretty shimmery purple color with silver glitter chunks again. Wear it at a night out or on a date and you are ready to have all eyes on you.

I loved both the shades, so much that I went ahead and bought the remaining six as well. These nail paints are not just another Glitter Nail Paints that are streaky and needs several coats to get an opaque finish, its very impressive. I was surprised to see how they apply so even and smoothly and goes opaque in just one coat but somehow I apply two coats. It dries real quick and gives a matte sand-textured finish. It chips very less and looks fresh even after many days. The only dud is that its a bit difficult to remove it, but then I have figured out, how to deal with it as well (wait for my next post).

All in all, with a price tag of  ₹125, its a must-have nail paint or if I can say, you must have them all.

Likes
  • goes opaque in one coat.
  • matte sand-textured finish.
  • dries quickly.
  • affordable.
Dislike
  • Difficult to remove but the Oriflame Beauty Nail Polish Remover removes it effectively. I am quite sure that the Lakme Nail Polish Remover will also do its job pretty nicely.
My Rating ♥♥♥♥♥

Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania costs  ₹125 and you can purchase it at any Maybelline counter or online.

My New Makeup Organiser

In my previous post, I had mentioned that I was in kolkata for a weekend and managed to shop quite a bit and I am so excited about the two things that I had bought. I am going to reveal the first thing in my upcoming haul post and the second thing is this makeup organiser. I must say, this is the best thing I've bought ever ( thanks to Shayoni). I am so in love with it.

Previously, I was using these storage drawers to store majority of my makeup but I wanted something compact, that I could keep on my dressing table and store all the stuff that I use in my day to day life.

This is how the Organiser looks and is actually not one but two different pieces. The quality is not flimsy but very sturdy and thick. Also, the upper part fits in the lower part like they were one. I also love the fact that the drawers come out completely, making them easy to clean.

The organiser stores most of my makeup perfectly and has made my job and my life so much easy as I tend to keep and forget things.

How I Have Arranged My Stuff

this is how the perfume looks. Isnt it so pretty with the pink atomiser :)

Now for the drawers, they are not very huge and spacious but I am not complaining. It has 2 small drawers and 2 big drawers. And this is how I have arranged all my stuff in it.

some other products

PRICE
I think I got both of them for 2000 approx as I am not so good at bargaining but I am sure you can get it at a better price.

SHOP
The shop's name is Jhunjhunwala's and its in the ground floor, somewhere in the middle, at Vardaan Market.

I think, the organizer that Cynthia was talking about in her recent post was also available there.

L'Oreal Moist Matte lipstick in Flaming Kiss - Review

This lipstick is one of my most favourite. Read on to know why.

L'Oreal Moist Matte lipstick in Flaming Kiss
A lipstick that delivers intense moisture while providing a velvet matte finish. Colour Riche Moisture Matte's unique formula contains jojoba oil for unrivaled moisture and comfort along with matte gel technology to create an intense matte look.

I am also wearing this lipstick HERE and HERE.

My Experience
L'Oreal Moist Matte lipstick comes in a rose gold packaging, which I find very classy, with a color button. Flaming Kiss is an orange-red color, which goes opaque in just one swipe. It gives a matte finish and does not make my lips feel dry or uncomfortable. I love how it brightens up my whole face and compliments my skin tone.

The lipstick does not feel heavy on my lips even after several coats, lasts for quite long and fades evenly leaving behind a soft tint. It does not require touch ups even after eating or drinking. I love how it keeps my lips moisturised and I do not feel the urge to lick my lips again and again.

The only thing I dislike about this lipstick is that it may break or melt easily so I have to be extra careful while applying and storing it. The testers in the counter were in a horrible condition, already. Apart from that I am highly impressed with this range and may pickup one more shade.

Likes
  • Its very pigmented.
  • Does not dry out my lips.
  • Fades evenly.
  • Lasts even after eating and drinking.
  • Does not settle into lip lines.
Dislikes
  • Have to be extra careful while applying/storing.
  • Not so travel friendly.
  • Expensive.
My Rating ♥♥♥♥
4.5/5

L'Oreal Moist Matte lipstick in Flaming Kiss is a part of the Lumiere Cannes Film Festival 2014 collection and costs ₹899. It can be purchased at any L'Oreal counter or online.

My First Deborah Milano Purchase With Few Other Stuff

Oops!! I had edited this post when I was at my mom's place enjoying my vacation, but forgot to post it :P
Anyways, here's my first Deborah Milano purchase I had made long some time back along with other few stuff that I had picked up.

Often, I wanted to pick up few stuff from the DM counter but most of the time I used to get confused and the SA was of no help either so I would end up picking up nothing other than a nail paint. But this time I really wanted to give it a try and this Eyebrow Mascara really caught my attention and I ended up picking these things :)

My Purchase
Deborah Milano Eyebrow Perfect Mascara
Deborah Milano Blush Stick in 01
Deborah Milano Red Laque Liquid Lipstick

Free Gift
Deborah Milano Euphoric Shine Lipgloss in 11

I was really happy to receive a lipgloss of my choice, free but when I reached home I thought it smelt quite bad and when I checked, the manufacturing date was missing :/
Quite liking the mascara and the liquid lipstick and I am yet to use the blush stick.

Other purchases that I had made

Maybelline Pink Alert lipstick in POW2, Bold Matte Lipstick in MAT1 and MAT4

Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel in Rain Forest

Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener in Emerald Empire

I have many more Hauls to share with you guys so stay tuned :)

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner - Review

I have a love and hate relationship with this one.

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner
An alcohol-free, refreshing and purifying toner. Instantly and effectively conditions, purifies and refreshes the skin, removing traces of makeup and cleanser. Leaves skin feeling fresh, purified, and looking shine-free.

How to use?
Saturate a cotton wool pad and sweep across a cleansed face and neck.

Ingredients:
Water (Solvent/Diluent), PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Emulsifier), Trideceth-9 (Emulsifier), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Algae Extract (Natural Additive), Glycerin (Humectant), Methylparaben (Preservative), Fragrance (Fragrance), Propylene Glycol (Humectant), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladderwrack) Extract (Skin Conditioning Agent), Butylparaben (Preservative), Ethylparaben (Preservative), Menthol (Fragrance/Cooling Agent), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract (Natural Additive), Isobutylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Benzyl Salicylate (Fragrance Ingredient), Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (Fragrance Ingredient), Tocopherol (Antioxidant).

My Experience
I had got this one last year I think, and since then I am loving and hating it at the same time. I was previously using the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner miniature (60 ml) which worked great on me during winters.

I take a little bit of this Toner in a cotton pad and swipe it lightly all over my face, neck, nape and ears (yes all of it) in an outward direction after cleansing my face with a mild cleanser. Trust me you do not want to see the cotton pad after I am done. It removes all the remaining dirt, makeup and/or tiny towel fibres that sticks to your face while wiping it. My face feels really refreshed after using it and it does not dry out my face either ( I have a dry-combination skin).

The product comes in a clear plastic bottle with a flip open cap. You can see how much product is left in it and mine is almost over now. The toner smells really refreshing. I would recommend to use a little bit of the product or it may dry out your skin or give you redness, with time, near your nose if you have sensitive skin.

It contains Bladderwrack Seaweed which, when I researched, has amino acids, and vitamins that nourish your skin. Seaweed's amino acids can help to hydrate dry skin and alleviate inflammation and irritation. Bladderwrack seaweed also contains fucoidan, a potent natural anti-inflammatory, which also helps reduce redness on the skin's surface. Fucoidan fights aging by helping to maintain collagen levels and promote elasticity in the skin. It also contains Menthol which has a cool soothing effect on the skin. Also, if used in the right amount, it can tighten pores for a smoother look.

Overall, I quite like this toner and it does its job really well but the only thing I dislike is, it makes my skin bumpy, you know those tiny colorless bumps, on both sides, near the nose area and I really hate it. Maybe I am using more of the product. Not sure, but will surely let you all know.

Likes
~ It does what it claims.
~ Removes all the remaining dirt, makeup and/or the towel fibres.
~ Face feels refreshed and really clean.
~ Does not dry out my skin.
~ Travel friendly.
~ You need a very little of the product and lasts you really long.

Dislikes
~ Contains Paraben.
~ Gives me tiny bumps near the nose area.
~ Does nothing for blackheads.

My Rating ♥♥♥♥
4.5/5

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner is meant for Combination/Oily Skin. It costs ₹795 for 200ml and has a shelf life of 3 years. I purchased mine from The Body Shop counter. It can also be purchased online from thebodyshop.in which has an offer going on 20% off on any 3 sitewide.

What's your favorite toner? Have you tried this out?

My Selfie Featured on Myntra.com

Sometime back I was approached by Myntra and was asked to style myself with at least 1 Myntra product from the website and come up with a fabulous selfie wearing the garment, which would be featured on their Look Good fashion segment and also on their blog.

I had received a Rs.1500 voucher from them and choose to buy a Blue Maxi Dress. I came up with a Day and a Night look playing around a bit, with the accessories. I really had fun getting dressed and taking the selfies.

To read more about the look do check out their look good section HERE and their fashion blog HERE.

Introducing Lakmé Absolute Gloss Addict: Created by backstage Experts at Lakmé Fashion Week for Runway-Ready lips in 15 Glamorous Shades! Lakmé Reinvent.
Professional High shine in a single stroke application.

MRP: Rs. 800

Below are the swatches of all the fifteen shades. I quite liked the way Lakme has named their lipsticks :)

I managed to pick up only one shade from the store as I was really in a hurry. Though its quite pricey, I will surely pick at least one more lipstick from this range. I found their texture similar to the Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutter and has both shimmery and non-shimmery shades. Also the packaging is really pretty and classy.

Hope this post helps you in picking up a shade or two.
