- Reveals hair that is strong, soft, shiny with a healthy scalp.
- Light fragrance
- Certified with Eco-Conscious Standards
- Paraben Free, Silicone Free, Colourant Free
Ingredient List
Soybean Oil, Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Tocopherol, Pentaclethra Macroloba Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Rosemary Extract, Coumarin, Citric Acid.
There are many things I like about the oil ~
- It's really light and gets absorbed quickly.
- Soothes my itchy scalp and I love it for this one.
- It's easy to wash off.
- It's paraben and silicone free.
- The previous bottle of mine is almost over, so I can say that it does make my hair soft.
- I love leaving the oil overnight. FYI, I always oil (be it any) my hair at night and wash them in the morning.
♥WHAT I DISLIKE♥
- The smell is a little overwhelming.
- The price tag.
- It does not reduce hair fall so I think, it does not make my hair strong.
- Though the packaging looks quite nice with a flip open cap and all, but the bottle gets all messy and oily after frequent use. Not so travel friendly I guess.
- Being a coconut oil, the first ingredient should had been Coconut Oil not Soybean Oil.
- It contains artificial fragrance.
- Its not pure coconut oil, contains other oils as well, which might be good for your hair though. But incase you were looking for pure coconut oil.
had used this much while taking pics but the bottle is empty now :)
♥FINAL VERDICT♥
My first bottle of The Body Shop Rainforest Coconut Hair Oil was almost over when I was sent a sample for its review. Now that I have used enough of the product, I can say that the oil won't help you with hair fall (didn't help me), but if the horrible climate is giving you an itchy scalp like me, it's worth trying. Also it does make my hair soft and smooth.
If you looking for pure organic coconut oil without any artificial fragrance, I think you should give this one a skip.

My Rating ~ ♥♥♥ 3/5
p.s. ~ product sent by pr for consideration. However my views are not affected and are honest as always.
