Hi Mffs
There are these new chips in town that are not made of Regular/Ordinary Potatoes but Real Vegetables. So, being a Night Owl munching on unhealthy snacks, I wanted to give this Gourmet Snack a try. Terra chips are available in stores in Metropolitans and online at Amazon and Big Basket.
When the package arrived, the first thing I noticed is the gorgeous packaging ~ Black with colorful prints. It looks quite classy.
Terra Chips costs ₹395 for 141g. Keep reading to know if its worth the money.
About Terra Chips
Terra Chips are not any ordinary Potato Chips but are made of real root vegetables like Batata (Cuban Sweet Potato), Parsnip, Yuca (cassava), Sweet Potato and Taro. They are also Gluten Free and NON GMO.
You can check out Terra Chips Facebook Page for more info.
My Experience
I had ordered the Original (Sea Salt) variant which is salted real vegetable chips in different color and texture. Exotic, colorful, crunchy and flavorsome is what I could think of, after eating a bagful (DON'T JUDGE ME ).
One thing that I have noticed is that, each vegetable chip has a unique texture, taste and color. These are crunchier than regular chips. Few of them taste like Banana Chips, which I love. So, incase you like Banana Chips, you will definitely like these as well.
Overall, it was a very good and different experience for my taste buds, to break the monotony and lay back and enjoy Healthy Snacking. I won't say, I will be buying the Terra Chips regularly (can't ignore the price tag) but would definitely be trying out the other variants.
