I had got all these brushes(except the faces one) when I had a very little idea bout the makeup world. and now i think I've got a bit of hold on all of it..lol. so, here i am reviewing few brushes that i have.
Next is this LIP FILLER
i just love this brush. it makes my lippie application quite easy and also prevents wastage..one weird thing i do wid this brush sometimes is i even apply eye liner wid it and its quite easy..lol..

AVON: BLUSH BRUSH AND LIP FILLER
I had got this pretty AVON brush set when i was in school.. actually it belonged to my sis and I stole it from here.lol.. the brushes came with a transparent pouch and had, I think, 4-5 brushes..sorry lost the odr 3..n m left with these 2..(the last one is from faces, got few months back)
so, lets talk about the BLUSH BRUSH first..
this AVON BLUSH BRUSH, has a wooden handle and is quite fluffy. its not like the best brush i've come across, but its not that bad also. it doesn't shed hair and is soft.keeps up color pretty well..

one thing i would like to mention is, as i said earlier i had got the above brushes when i was in class 11-12th i guess means long time back and as u all can see its still in gud condition. and also AVON products are quite reasonable.
FACES: EYE SHADOW BRUSH
Talking about this, I am simply in love wid this brush. its super soft. blends excellently, picks up colour really well..

hey great review...haven't used Avon brushes as yet coz I use Vega brushes. But Avon products are mostly nice.

ReplyDeleteThis post is very timely as I've found that my vega brushes are only so-so. Vega is good for beginners, but once you learn a little you have to get better brushes. Unfortunately I haven't found any decently-priced ones. The Avon & vega look decent, so I can probably try those. But the Singapore ones are the cutest. Even the pouch is adorable. Hm...you've given me an idea - maybe I can try the duty-free stores...

ReplyDeletesry ya don rem' the price but its quite reasonable..n this very brush i think is superb..yup i think they hv discontinued..you can try the oriflame ones they look gorgeous.. in pantaloons the faces section had a travel kit, sponge applicators and this eye shadow brush dts it..donno if they hv more of brushes odr than these..

Wow, im very intrigued by these brushes. Its so hard getting good brushes in India. Vega is the only chjeap ones and they are not great...i might give avon a shot !
