Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 - Review

I think I had purchased (actually it was my Anniversary Gift from my husband) the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 two years back and since then I have been wanting to write a review on it. So, after 2 year, I am finally here with my review. Keep reading, if you want to know my thoughts.

The Iconic Speedy collection ranges in different sizes - 25-40 versions, and with a variety of prints and colours ~

The Monogram – traditional LV printed monogram.

The Damier Ebene – brown checkered print.

The Damier Azure – cream and blue/grey checkered print.

I got mine in Monogram print in the Size 30. The Speedy comes with a Shoulder Strap as well (Bandouliére) but for that you will have to pay approx Rs 30,000 extra. 

How And From Where Did Buy

We don't have an LV showroom here and since I had no plans to travel and also I did not want to wait, I ordered my bag over the phone. I bought it from the LV Store, DLF Emporio. The store member, Dewang was really helpful and informative. So, incase you like an LV Bag or any other designer bag you can always call up at the store and enquire about the price. 

I made an online money transfer and the bag was with me within a week in perfect condition. 

Packaging

 The box was packed in a carton and bubble wrapped really well, when it arrived. The bag comes with a dustbag, in a beautiful brown box with Louis Vuitton written over it. Even the receipt comes in a lovely envelope.

For ease of transporting, the bag is folded up and flat-packed into the box. This does not crease the bag permanently or damage it. 

The bag has a brown lining inside, so you don't have to worry about scratching or making it dirty. It has one inside pocket which is not very wide. The bag also comes with the added security of a lock and key.

The pale calfskin colour of the handles and side will darken in time due to the use and exposure.

The only thing that I dislike about this bag is that it does not have a rigid base and the bag slouches. But you can always buy a Bag Shaper online, I like the ones from Samorga.
